I'm in love with a pair of neon yellow heels. Does that make me weird? Is that okay??!

That definitely does NOT make you weird, but actually makes you extra fabulous.  Neon is definitely the color theme for this spring and summer.  Adding a bright pop of neon color is a super fun way to spice up your wardrobe and brightening up your day.  I know I'm in love with some neon!  How about you?

Want: Leopard Buckle

I've been lamenting my lack of fun belt buckles.  I want some awesomeness strapped across me, maybe that's just me but I'm all for a big, fun buckle.  Then today I saw what I've been looking for - a leopard buckle! Want. Need.

Birthday Dinner Ensemble

Last night I dragged my friends to dinner at my fave restaurant MK for my birthday. I don't go anywhere where I can really get my dress up on. And I don't think a Sunday night dinner at MK was really such a place either, but it was my birthday, and I was dressing up if I wanted to.

So this is where my whim and fancy took me last night:

ABS dress, random cheap belt, tights from Spain, Zara headband, and L.A.M.B. heels

I was really feeling like I should try tights with sandals. I thought I could pull it off without looking like I didn't know what season it was, and I think I did it. I think the L.A.M.B.s have the edge to pull off the look.

Here's a close-up so you can see my headband. I picked it up randomly last week and I'm in LOVE with it. I'm a general headband aficianado, but this one is def my fave right now. The big velvet floppiness of it makes me think about the bows my mom would put me in when I was 5, don't you think?

Yesterday's Deliveries

Like many days at my house, yesterday was chock full of deliveries. Most were not note-worthy (i.e. the flapper beads I got for my 20s-themed holiday party this weekend), but here are a couple worth sharing.

After some suggestions from K, I decided I just needed a skinny belt to wear over a cardigan for an unbeatable work look. Too bad I got the advice entirely too late that if you want to wear the belt at your waist, maybe you should order a smaller size. So my belt which would be perfectly sized if I wanted to sling it on my hips was a couple sizes too big, but lesson learned. Maybe if I'm feeling crafty I'll hammer some new holes in it.
