Happy Birthday to Me!

The advent countdown is over and I like to think the final prize in the calendar is the big, frosted cake at the end.

If you want something more clothing-related, how about my little party dress for tonight? (Before you ask, no, I absolutely do not own this dress, this is for fake. My bday clothing plans are comprised of p.j.s and my Badgley Mischka. Clearly not at the same time.)

What will you wear to my party this year?

On the Twentieth and Twenty-Firsty Days of December...

I took a couple days off and was to busy sitting in my pj's to come up with fabulous items for you. And all this counting down has come to an end... tomorrow's the big day! I do believe EWP-Day is a national holiday, so everyone call in sick to work and go buy yourself something fabulous!

On the Nineteenth Day of December...

Today all I found myself wishing for was more time in the day, which got me thinking about timepieces. While I don't own one (maybe bday 09?), I do find Cartier watches to be the prettiest female watches around. So on this snowy nineteenth day of December the EWP wishlist brings you...

a Cartier watch.

Cartier, $3,875

On the Eighteenth Day of December...

As a fashion snob I have quite a few pet peeves when it comes to people's ensembles (chunky heels, I'm talking to you!) But the full list of fashion don'ts is for another day. Today I'm limiting my rant to those awful Tiffany's dog chain bracelets. There is nothing attractive about having a dog collar-looking item on your wrist. And the only point to wearing such an item is to show off it's from Tiffanys. But there really is no point in going designer if it doesn't look nice. EWP Rule #237: Even designer things can look bad and just because it's DvF or Tiffanys or what have you doesn't mean it's right for you. EWP Rule #194: Don't buy things everyone else is wearing because that's boring, try something new.

If you are dying for a Tiffany's bracelet, might I suggest something a little less 19 year old sorority girl and a little more grown up. Why not try this unique and stylish cuff instead?
