I'm full of updates today.
Remember these sad and beat up shoes? (After only 5 wears, mind you).
On Saturday, I took them back to Barney's for them to "take care of it." Let me say I actually don't blame Barney's for this, this is obviously Prada's fault for shoddy craftsmanship, but Barney's said they'd take care of it. So I took them in and the shoe lady said they will send them to their "premier shoe repairer" (I guess the only guy in Chicago who Barney's and Neimans trust to repair designer shoes) and they would repair them for free. Now free repair is well and good, and I appreciate Barney's doing that, but I really want Prada to know I'm mad at them.
So I will definitely still be giving Prada a piece of my mind.... as soon as I get out from under this mountain of work.
