So I took them back to Barney's who had their shoe guy fix 'em up free of charge. I picked them up this past weekend and here they are in their refurbished glory.
I'm still never buying Prada shoes ever again. Oh, and I attempted to call Prada and complain. They don't have a customer service number so I called their corporate offices. The receptionist who answered the phone wasn't sure where to direct my call and tried to tell me it was only my shoes that were bad and no other ones could possibly have this happen. I thanked her for sharing her opinion and asked to someone else. She took my number and someone was supposed to call back. Hasn't happened yet. I will be following up next week.
