While soaking up the rays on the beach, it's best to protect your face from the harsh effects of the sun. Wouldn't want to be all wrinkled by 30, now would we?

2. A Beach Towel
Many hotels will provide towels for you, but if your travels take you to a hotel without such a service or just to your local pool, it's best to pack your own towel.

3. Sunblock
Your skin is very important. Give it the care and attention it needs by applying sunblock before stepping out in the sun (even if all you're doing is walking to work). I suggest getting different sunscreens for your face and the rest of your body as some sunscreens can clog pores.

Even though I'm brown, I've learned time and time again, that doesn't mean I don't burn. Be sure to keep some aloe on hand for when you realize you are not impervious to the sun, even if you reapply sunscreen like it's your job.
