One Hollywood Stars: Puerto Rico Prep Part Cinco: To the Max

I wouldn't dream of going anywhere in the summer without packing at least one of my summertime clothing faves: the maxi dress. While extolling the virtues of the maxi dress, I often get asked, "What is a maxi dress?" Well, think of it this way, a mini dress is a v. short dress, and the maxi dress is the opposite, it's long and goes to the floor.

I love love love maxi dresses. Can't get enough of them. They're so cool, flowy, feminine and unbelievably comfy. It's like wearing a nightgown outside. But actually socially acceptable and cute.

All I wanted last summer were a few maxi dresses to rotate through the summer. Doesn't seem like a lot to ask, right? Well, it seems I must've been well ahead of the curve because after searching the entire city, and I mean the entire city, I found next to nothing. After all my efforts, I ended up with 3 maxis: one from Arden B (at over $150), one from bebe (also over $150), and one from Forever 21 (only $20). Let me tell you, that Forever 21 maxi dress got so many compliments, it was kind of absurd.

Lucky for you, this year not only are the maxis on average much cheaper, there are also SO many more to choose from!
