The always fabulous Rory came to town over the weekend and we hit everywhere on Michigan Avenue. I had no real shopping needs, but that didn't stop me from trying on everything at every store. At my work staple, Banana Republic, we befriended the very nice salesman Corky. Well, his name wasn't actually Corky, that's just what I called him for most of the time I was there, then switching to Cory at some point. Turns out his name was Clark. But that's besides the point, what I was getting to was Corky was nice and attentive and willing to grab anything I pointed to and schlep it to the fitting room for me. When I'm not the one carrying things around the store, turns out I think many things are try-on worthy. Out of the at least 20 items I tried on, there was one that really caught my attention:

Soft, light material. Flirty bow at the neck. Flattering belted waist. I was in major like. Clearly not in love as I didn't feel like ponying up the $175 to buy it. Yes, I've spent more than that on many a dress, but it's Banana, and their stuff always ends up going on sale the next week.
But I've decided I really must have it for my friend's wedding weekend brunch I'm attending next weekend. And with a sale event heads up from Kathy, I'll be getting it in store for 30% off. But the rest of you can get it
here.
