Sandra Bullock made up for her Globes debacle of a purple mess with this kind of 80s (in a good way!) black and blue Alexander McQueen gown. B+

Penelope Cruz looked elegant, per usual, in this little black dress by L'Wren Scott, but it was not nearly as much glamour as I've come to expect from her. A-
Why, Marion? Why?????? The formerly gorgeous Marion Cotillard wore this confusing Elie Saab dress with bulky shoulder, poufy hip, and feathered hem. And to add insult to injury, she paired the dress with heavy, bulky, and just plain ugly shoes. F

Lea Michele followed her big GG debut with this gorgeous green Catherine Malandrino. The makeup was perfect, and her hair just the right blown away curl look for fabulous old Hollyood glamour. Only drawback? The ruffles actually just make her boobs look like they hang out to the sides. A-

Kate Hudson wore white yet again, donning this Pucci. I, for one, am quite bored. C

Julie Bowen wore this ridiculous black and white number to the SAGs. Was the Modern Family star worried about her left arm getting cold? Was she hiding a rash? No matter, there were still much better ways to cover up such issues than this mess. F

Juliana Margulies wore a navy Narciso Rodriguez. While I am not a huge velvet dress fan, I'm not totally hating this. But I'm definitely not loving it either. C+
Julia Louis-Dreyfus looked a hot mess in this overworked, over-ruched Dolce & Gabbana, flesh-colored dress with black mesh overlay. F

Tina Fey opted for a better length this time around in this cute purple Salvatore Ferragamo frock. The color is gorgeous and clearly I'm in love with the sparkly peep-toe Loubs, but I'm not totally wowed. B-

In a sea of solids, it was a nice change to see Meryl Streep step out in this printed Balenciaga. The print was adorable, the colors just right, and the belt the perfect touch. Meryl is gorgeous at any age. A

Drew Barrymore was almost perfect in this two-tiered Monique Lhuillier. I think it's the extra tier that I'm not in love with, but I do give her kudos for always trying something new. Generally the color is great and the details very feminine, just the kinds of things I like. Minus points for the bad hair. B

Diane Kruger made up for her odd GG color choice, and donned this stunning marigold gown by Jason Wu. This was by far my favorite look of the night. A+

Michelle Monaghan looked completely ridiculous in this gunmetal Calvin Klein. Why the one sleeve? Why the weird hem? Why the odd design starting at her belly? I can't get on board with any of it. Well, I guess her eyebrows look nice. F

I'm on the fence about Gabourey Sidibe in this Pamella Roland dress. I can't figure out if I love it or hate it. One second I'm totally drawn to the color, the next I'm angry at the weird sleeve points. One moment I'm totally smitten with her fresh and glowing makeup, the next I'm confused about the ruching at her boobs. Hmm.... giving this a B-

Fresh faced Anna Kendrick looked totally adorable in this lavendar Alberta Ferretti. Her earrings were cute and simple, and her makeup perfectly understated. A

Christina Applegate surprised in this ice blue Roberto Cavalli. Looked sweet and grecian in the front, but had an unexpected smattering of dazzle in the back. B

Carey Mulligan's hair is just so not my thing, and this red Lanvin hits her at all the wrong places. The pouf of the fabric makes the tiny actress look hippier than she is. C-

Mom-t0-be Paula Patton was glowing in this J. Mendel gown. Dress was fine, but I hated the hair and earrings. Too severe. D

Anna Paquin was beyond comprehension in a patterned, short Alexander McQueen. I'm still not sure what on earth she was going for. I just know I didn't like it. F

Kyra Sedwick was absolutely gorgeous in this white Lanvin gown. It fit her perfectly and the light and airy gray sash with a brooch on her side was just the right accent to complete a winning look. A

Dianna Agron is a very pretty girl, and we all know I love me some Glee, but this strapless off-white draped gown by Edition by Georges Chakra left me a little confused. I like the beading and the belt, but the extra drape makes it seem like one boob decided to sag and she was trying to cover it up. C+

No one knows who made Stana Katic's dress, and, even worse, no one even knew who she was! In all my searching for the designer, all I found was article after article about how all the new wires mistakenly identified her as Mischa Barton. Poor poor Stana, no one wants to be confused for Mischa Barton. I for one loved the hair, and this backless silver glittery number was much more gorgeous than these pictures portray. B

What do you think? Disagree? Agree? Did I miss any of your favorite looks?
