I don't know why, but at the turn of the year I decided I needed a swine flu shot. I'm not a crazy paranoid person who thinks we're all going to die of H1N1, I just would rather not get sick. I have the worst immune system ever and am always getting people's bugs. I even had strep throat a few months ago. STREP THROAT. I haven't had that since I was 10.
And I got the regular flu shot, so I like to think of this as part 2.
I would never ever stand in a long line for it. I definitely don't care that much. But it seems no one in Chicago cares about the piggy flu because there aren't any lines anywhere. I called up my doctor this morning to ask about getting one, and the receptionist said, "Come in whenever you want! We'll have it ready." So seems like I don't even need an appointment.
So time to get Res #3 checked off the list, and less than a week into the new year. Look at me go!
[OMG! I just noticed that the piggy pic blinks at you. Do you see that??? It's freaking me out]
UPDATE:
I got my piggy shot! I checked in, got the shot, and got out the door in under six minutes. Aside from the shot itself, the process was pretty painless. And per new year's resolution #1, I thought twice about taking a cab to my doctor's office and decided to take the bus instead. Go, EWP!
