In response to my general advice to wear makeup, I often hear the refrain "but I don't know how to put on makeup." I've tried here and there with some impromptu lessons for friends, but since I can't visit everyone individually to give the EWP makeup tutorial, I'm suggesting the next best thing: Kevyn Aucoin's Making Faces. Kevyn was a very renowned and well-respected makeup artist until his passing in 2002. But his memory lives on in this book, the greatest guide to doing your makeup. Making Faces features step-by-step directions, instructional full-colour sketches, and a gallery of noncelebrity transformations, as well as fabulous images of stars and supermodels as youve never seen them before. This book is a must have for any girl on your Christmas list this year.
