Kate Spade Always Makes Me Happy

I'm a bit of a Kate Spade addict. So please forgive me if I only ever post her handbags, I just love them so. I just don't go for bags with a lot of stuff going on and things dangling and designs like crazy. Kate Spade bags are just so feminine and simple and classic. In short, they make me swoon. And I also appreciate that they don't break the bank. I had to admit I had a bit of a Kate Spade habit when all the employees at my local Kate Spade (shout out to the Oak Street Kate Spade, love you guys!) knew who I was... and who my husband was... and knew which bags I owned. But I contend that's not a bad thing, I like getting great, personalized service and being a regular always gets you better service... and personalized thank you notes for all of your purchases.

This past weekend I was, once again, at my fave place the Oak Street Kate Spade picking up a birthday gift for my SIL (a sooo chic wallet that my husband had to hold me back from buying for myself. I really shouldn't take him shopping with me). While there, I just saw the most adorable swoon-worthy bags. I can't get them out of my head, so I thought sharing them with you would be the shopping release I needed to help me move on. Though I do think I really need one of them.

I am in love with the be-ribboned navy and mustard.

This one comes in many colors but for some reason I could only save the black and white picture, but I am just dying for, in love with the mustard and yellow one. So please click the link and take a looksie. Though now that I look at the linked one, I think the one in the store was the opposite, being primarily mustard with smaller navy stripes.... I dunno, I haven't slept in a month and I think my mind is playing tricks on me.

I wonder how I can justify one of these..... not my birthday for two more months... I'm pretty sure they wouldn't count as "paper" for my first anniversary.... maybe if I say they are paper holders and suggest J puts stationary in them.... that makes no sense at all. Hey, a girl can try, right?

UPDATE: I totally just called Kate Spade to see if they'd be running any sales soon, and it turns out, they will be. From Nov. 6-16, go into any Kate Spade and mention this promotion and get 25% off one regular priced handbag. That saves me $75. Count me in!
