Reader Question - Basics on a Budget Part 6: A Good Bag

No girl's wardrobe is complete without a great bag to tote around town. Now this is where I would normally advocate for stepping up the price, because investing in a great bag really pays off with a great piece that will really last you. But we're on a budget here, so we're keeping this to under $100 (you have no idea how painful this is for me). When getting your one essential bag to last you through the year, make sure to get a fabric and color that will last you through the whole year without looking out of place (e.g. no tweed and no white). Also, going a little bigger will help you with all your needs so you can fit a file or some shoes. But keep in mind that a big bag is not for dressing up, so keep a cheapie clutch on hand to take with you to dinner or a wedding. And without further ado, I give you your budget bags:
