Babies Everywhere!

I decided to take a weekend off from being a judgey ice queen. Even I can't pull that off all the time. Even a sassy EWP needs a day off or two. So I decided to do something drastically different from being a ruthless shopping snob and spent the weekend playing with babies. BABIES, y'all! And boy were they ever the sweetest things I've ever seen. And held. If my ice cold heart wasn't melted, it was at least very much defrosted.



First there was my cousin's sweet little girl.





She's not yet 1, but she sure did go to town with that rice.





Then my friend Monica let me tag along for the day and play with her 8 month old Maeve and almost 2 year old Finn.

This is Maeve. I love her to pieces.

Look at those two little teeth.

She really found Five Guys exciting. I mean, who wouldn't.

This is Finn. He told me we were friends. And I'm invited to his birthday party next month.

Finn was very helpful in the parking lot and told me to "WATCH OUT!" whenever a car pulled in.

He also made me promise to wear a hat at his birthday party. I promised. Which means I must really like him, because I don't really do hats.

Then there was this sweet little bundle of sweetness I met today. He's only 5 days old. I hear tell he has dimples, couldn't tell while he was fast asleep though.

B just got him yesterday and she's already a pro. She's going to be a wonderful mom.
