I've been a bit MIA this past week, and for that I can only say sorry and provide two reasons: 1) swamped at work (what else is new?), and 2) that woman above.
Who is this devil woman, you ask? Well, she is Ree Drummond, a city gal who up and fell in love with a cowboy and moved to his cattle ranch. And, oh. my. god. Her blog (The Pioneer Woman) is FANTASTIC. I'm just sad it's taken me 3 years to discover it. But that just gives me lots of archives to peruse... which leads to me being lost for hours and hours reading about cows, macaroni, and...mmmm... Marlboro Man.
Ms. Drummond, AKA Pioneer Woman, blogs about a few things in her life: pictures of life on the ranch, complete with cute country kids and even cuter country cows.
Pioneer Woman also has a section with step-by-step (and photo-by-photo, SO HELPFUL!) recipes of various delectable and sinful delights like this chocolate cake (which are haunting me now that I'm on my lactose-free, gluten-free diet. Poor EWP)

But what makes her blog too good to pass up is the Harlequin-worthy romance blogel (blog+novel, I just made it up) about how she met Marlboro Man and got swept off her black heels and onto his cattle ranch. You may laugh at me, but I suggest you start reading it. Now. I'll see you in a week once you've caught up.

So head on over to her blog The Pioneer Woman and you can fill your time while waiting for me to take a break from esquiring and getting back to shopping.
Now I just need to find some chaps for J....
