I brought it in the house, still confused, until my husband came bounding up to get his package. Apparently he's been making trans-Atlantic purchases. Now, let me be the first to say I know basically nothing about men's fashions. I know Thomas Pink makes fantastic, yet rather expensive, shirts, and Brooks Brothers seems to be a winner around my law firm, but that's about the extent of my expertise.
Well, it turns out my little fashion-savvy husband knows a bit more than that and has been making clothing purchases from the UK, because clearly the US just doesn't know how to do dress clothes. This may be stuff you all already know, but I have just learned, after careful instruction from my husband, that the best men's retailers (like Thomas Pink) all hang out on Jermyn Street in London. And as there are recession sales all over the globe now, he took advantage of some rather great deals at great Jermyn Street retailers T.M. Lewin and Charles Tyrwhitt and was really excited about them. I thought I'd share some of them for you now, and maybe the man in your life would like a deeply marked down Jermyn Street shop shirt or tie. (Keep in mind applicable exchange rates).
