Today marks the first day of a very important month in my life: my birthday month. And while some people do advent calendars, and there are the twelve days of Christmas, we at The Esquire Wears Prada will be doing a different sort of countdown. An advent calendar of my birthday, if you will.
Each day I'll post a little something I hope (or wish as it is completely unattainable) to find under my birthday shoe tree this year.

A Sex and the City Movie DVD.
While the movie was a little ridiculous (why did everyone have to squeal every time Samantha showed up?) and confusing (when did the girls' clothing budgets expand 1000-fold?), it was still fun to watch our favorite women go into their next chapter (albeit with much more wrinkles).
