Ugly Nanette?

I was watching my dvred "Ugly Betty" from this past Thursday and noticed that for the second time to my notice, they dressed Betty in Nanette Lepore. The first was an adorable purple eyelet dress I had eyed at Nordstrom a few months before. And this last week was a fantastic fuschia coat with bow collar. (Sorry, couldn't find pics). Both I had eyed and wanted. And I contend both are not Ugly Betty-worthy. Why is she wearing designer duds if she's poor and lives in Queens and has no style? Poor Nanette, she deserves better.
