The Tight Stuff

It's finally gotten to the time wearing just a skirt or dress is too cold on its own. Clearly the upcoming winter would never keep me from wearing the skirts and dresses I'm so fond of. The chill in the air just gives me an excuse to start wearing one of my favorite accessories: tights.

You can be playful with your tights and wear an unexpected, but subtle, pattern or print or color to add pop to your outfit. Or you can just be practical and still be stylish and warm at the same time in an opaque tight.

I have this problem where I seem to rip holes in all my tights, so I've shied away from purchasing the more expensive brands. I go through tights far too quickly to invest any substantial sum in them. But that's just me. To keep your tights lasting longer: hand wash and hang to dry. I come in somewhere in the middle and machine wash but hang dry. But my tights also don't cost more than $14 (see above ripping problem), so I'm fine with that.

Below are my favorite tights in a variety of prints and prices. Keep in mind that most come in multiple colors, not just the one pictured.
