Banana Republic is one of my easy go tos for great work pieces. The only problem is I always get upset when the things I buy go on sale right after, as they always do. But that just means I'll have time to test out the clothes before they go on sale and you can get a review and thumbs up at a much lower price. Here are two pieces from my closet that I just love and highly recommend. (I'm even wearing the purple top right now!)


This top has a great color, great print, and adds a little flourish with the sleeve and neck. It's extremely comfortable. Just a note that it is wide, so wear belted or tucked into a pencil skirt. And at a find at Forever 21 price, who could resist?

This sheath dress isn't left in many sizes, but if yours is still around, snag this sophisticated and unique dress right up! The fit is flattering and the print keeps it from boring, but the color palette keeps the design from being over the top and still work-appropriate.
