Fashion Week: Carlos Miele

Hailing from Florianópolis, Brazil, is a designer I hadn't heard of until yesterday: Carlos Miele. Kathy sent me a few pictures of his pieces from his Spring 2009 RTW collection and I was knocked out. His designs, particularly the floaty chiffon gowns he is known for, invoke images of glamor and red carpets. With designs as sweet as the honey he's named for (okay, it's his last name, but whatever), Miele is a designer I won't be soon forgetting. Though I do question his footwear decisions, but nobody's perfect.
