Oh all the makeup I could carry...

If you've ever seen the stackable mini-drawers in my bathroom, you know that I love makeup. It's not so much that buying concealer gives me joy, but that makeup, to me, is as essential to stepping out of the house as undergarments. A girl can't look her best without the right foundations, so to speak. Good quality makeup is essential. Why bother with the pretty dress if your face looks blotchy and tired? And, as with all things, just one piece isn't enough. While one can make do with just one eye shadow; a girl has not properly reached every level of fabulousness without at least 10 shades of eyeshadow in her arsenal. There are shadows for day, there are shadows for work, and then there are the most fun of all, shadows for night.

But while I believe in having the entire contents of the Nordstrom makeup department in my collection, it gets tough to organize it. If all my little makeup discs and tablets and tubes were all thrown together, I would never find my charcoal shadow when I needed the perfect smokey eye or the right light gloss for just walking around town. I've tried to deal with this issue with little plastic drawer units (a drawer for eye shadow, a drawer for foundation and powder, a drawer for lipgloss and lipstick, and a drawer for eyeliner and mascara), but my lovely makeup is just not getting the treatment it deserves. It's like keeping your Chanel on plastic hangers. Okay, maybe not that bad, but I know deep down my makeup is unhappy with its home.

One day my little pods of eyeshadow and sticks of lipgloss will get to move and make their home in this:
My dream case. It may not look like much in the picture, but in person it is to die for. Don't believe me? Check out the specs on this makeup case of all makeup cases here. Imagine how many of these and these you could fit in that!
